The Mount Wade Baptist Church will observe communion on Sunday, January 4 @ 10:30 AM.  All Ministers Wives and Deacon Wives are asked to assemble on the 1st or 2nd row during communion.  Deacons, please contact Deacon Rod Henderson for dress code.

The Brookhaven Panther Football team has once again brought home the gold ball.  We are the 5A State Champions.  Now it's time to stand behind our coaches who are now raising funds through donations to purchase the Championship Rings.  Each ring will cost approximately $300.00. With over 100+ coaches, players, trainers, and support staff, the total sum is over $30,000.  

Coach Dorsey, who is an ACTIVE member of our church, needs our support.  I am asking every member to give at least $30 towards the purchase of the rings.  I plan to give $300.00, which is the coast of a ring.  If you can give $300.00, please join me.  If you can give $200.00, that's awesome.  If you can give $100.00, it will be a great blessing to the effort.  If you give $30.00, you're a team supporter.

I want Coach Dorsey to know that we are not just proud of him with words, but with our actions and full support.  

We will plan to initiate giving on the 3rd Sunday, January 18, 2026.  We will continue until every member has an opportunity to give.  Please place your gift in an envelope with your name on it so that you can be listed as a TEAM SUPPORTER LIST.  Thanks for all you do.

Bible Study at Mt. Wade in 2026 will be a part of the Christian Education Ministry which may include Bible lessons, Sermons, Religious Articles, Etc.

Please invite your friends and family to join us every Sunday for worship beginning at 9:00 a.m. with Sunday School.  Continue the worship at 10:30 a.m. as Dr. Hamilton brings a powerful word from God.  Please make sure that you greet all of our guest before you leave at the benediction.  We are a faithful, friendly and fervent church.  Let's grow together.

The Deacons Ministry are to serve the body of Christ under the directions of the Pastor.  They assist in overseeing the daily activities of the church.  They also serve as Administrative Directors over the church ministries.

The Church Mother's are appointed by the Pastor after prayerful consideration of the spirituality, qualifications, dutifulness, faithfulness to God & Church, and overall disposition.  We are grateful for the wisdom and love they exhibit daily.

The Youth Enrichment Ministry meets every 2 & 4 Sunday.  This Ministry is dedicate as Youth Worship when children 3 to 19 are separated from adults and lead in worship that is age and understanding appropriate.  

The Youth Ministry is responsible for oversee youth actives and leading youth in kingdom service.  They are responsible for  planning special worships for events such as Christmas, Easter, Black History, etc.  The Youth Ministry meet once a month for training, games, & activities.

These TWO ministries focus on the development of Men & Women who strive to balance faith, family, & finances.  This ministry strives to unite Men of all ages & Women of all ages together for Kingdom work.

Mt. Wade has five choir ministries.

3) The MWBC Senior Choir

4) The MWBC Brotherhood Choir

5) The MWBC Sounds of Joy Mass Choir

The Evangelism & Outreach Ministry goal is to seek the salvation of the lost and minister to the total need of man.  The Evangelism Ministry routine goes out into the street seeking the lost competing them to come to Christ.

The Senior Men's Mission units seasoned saints together for the work of the ministry are they transition for warriors to counselors.  Together these men continue to perform meaningful kingdom work.

The Senior Women's Mission units seasoned saints together for the work of the ministry are they transition for warriors to counselors.  Together these women continue to perform meaningful kingdom work.

The Christian Education Ministry is under the direction of the Pastor.  Each Ministry strives to inspire, educate, and inform participants of biblical principles and theological truths.  These ministries include Sunday school, Bible Study, training seminars, conferences, revivals, etc.

The First Lady Ministry focus on the training and development of ministers wives as they transition into their new role.  The MWBC First Lady leads this ministry.
